When it comes to international travelling, there are few big market player currencies that can be exchanged anywhere in the world. Notable currencies are USD, GBP, EU, CAD, RUB, AED, QAR, KWD etc. All currencies are not available in Pakistan. The easiest way is to get USD in exchange for PKR. Once you reach the destination country, the first thing you need to do is to get a small amount of USD exchanged for local currency at Airport. It will be used as transport money from Airport to City Centre where your accommodation will be. Almost all major tourist cities offer local transport from Airport to City Centre and that is way cheaper than the taxis serving at the airports. Never book an airport transfer or Taxi at the airport to travel cheaply. Make sure to check the information on local transfers before travelling because you might not get internet at all airports to use google maps online.
Once you get to the City Centre, the first thing is to get a sim with the required amount of internet package. At the airport, sims are way more expensive. Then find a local currency exchange on Google Maps and exchange all your remaining USDs for local currency.
